Installing Analytics

Hi,
I’ve installed analytics using amp-analytics, but currently I put the code in amp/templates/single.php (editing the plugin).
How do I add analytics without making changes to the plugin?
I have a child theme for my wp site, but it doesn’t affect the AMP pages.
