Installing a New theme

    I am not sure what version I am running, how do i locate that? I went to the appearance link and found a new theme I wanted to install, it downloaded it but I dont know where it downloaded it too. The new theme is not found in my appearance link. I have downloaded it several times and it says it is done, but I cannot locate. I am using blue voda for my hosting. Not sure if that has anything to do with it? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

    Bottom right of the footer in your Admin area.

    but I dont know where it downloaded it too

    How did you download the theme? Via your Admin panel or via a link on a site?

    go to menu Apperence > Themes (three position above place where you downloaded theme) and there activate your new theme

    it is not there under appearance, themes…. maybe my internet is blocking it from downloading?

    i checked and my pop up blocker is not on… i have no idea if the file is saved somewhere on my computer but ran a search and cant find it. After you install a theme, does it give you a message that it is complete? Mine just has the status bar and once it is done it disapears.

    sometimes it is a problem with file access rules at your server. you need to log in to server throught ftp protocol and check if wp-content/themes (and files and folders insdie it) has rights to write and read
