installer failed

    Hello,

    I created archives and installed them without problems on local intallations.

    When I tried to install on remote servers, the installer.php script takes some time and then brings only an empty window.

    Any idea what can be wrong?

    Hey @lenker,

    Are there any clues in the installer-log.txt file? Please don’t post your logs here, unless its just a few lines of unsensitive data of where it ended…

    Hey @lenker,

    That is odd… You may have to see if there are any issues in the PHP or Apache logs that provide some clues. Did any of the files get extracted from the archive.zip file?

    Hi,
    The PHP setting Open Base Dir: is On
    can this be the cause?

    I’m not 100% sure, however it has been know to cause quite a bit of issues. I recommend that people turn it off if possible…
