    Clear the entire database, remove all the tables, etc and start clean. Then try installing WordPress again.

    Did you use a fresh download of WordPress for the re-install?

    Hi @sophiaiii can you please walk us through what happened? Your topic is a little short on details except for those error messages.

    Do not attempt to change your database table prefix. Right now your site is not working and no one should be offering that advice at this time.

    @i9lifearaujo,

    As per the Forum Welcome, please post your own topic. That way you stand a good chance of getting full attention to your specific issue. Despite any similarity in symptoms, your issue is likely to be completely different because of possible differences in physical servers, accounts, hosts, plugins, theme, configurations, etc. Thus one problem, on one setup is not indicative of the functionality and reliability of an application as a whole.

    hi Jan,
    The first time i tried to install it it said my database needed repairs, when i repaired it was unsuccessful, so i deleted everything and downloaded another wordpress. 2nd time it brought the same error. am not sure that info is sufficient, hope you get the picture

    I’d suggest destroying the old database, setting up a fresh one and then trying a new install.

    Ajit,
    I used a fresh download.

    It’s not WordPress that is the issue. It is your database. Destroy the old database, setting up a fresh one and then trying installing WordPress again.

    (@sophiaiii)

    @esmi, ok lemme try that.

    one more thing @esmi, do i need to go to local disk C and delete the folders i have there too or only at php myadmin?

    (@esmi)

    Are you installing WordPress on a local server or a remote server?
