    I am using a Mac OSX 10.4.1 and the latest wordpress version
    I have set the config file and uploaded all files to my host server

    I am not sure where I am to input the required info for the install file – in the actual code of the file on my system or by dragging it over a browser and filling it in there – if the latter is the case then I have an issue as I keep getting an error reading PHP is not running…

    im probably doing this wrong but thought I would try the forum first instead of making things worse….

    You need to upload the files to your server, then visit example.com/wp-admin/install.php or example.com/wordpress/wp-admin/install.php or example.com/blog/wp-admin/install.php (etc depending on where you put the files) in your web browser. None of the files are to be run from your computer.
