Install can’t find wp-config solved

    Three days, read all the posts, tried several solutions before I found MY problem. What I did, navigate to wordpress/wp-admin, right click on install.php select open in explorer: What I got? a mess. This mess is described elseswhere as PHP not working, can’t find wp-install.php, various and a sundry other things … OKAY stop laughing at me. For anyone’s benefit that is saying: “Yes, Yes and then what.” WHAT I needed to do was: open Browser, type in http:/localhost/wordpress/wp-admin/install.php

    For what ever reason the two things are not the same.
