Install but no Cpanel

  • I installed WordPress and then went to do some editing of a site and I don’t have the cPANEL option. WHat did I do wrong?

WordPress doesn’t use cPanel (a hosting account management application). It has a Dashboard/Admin area. Try going to http://your_domain/wp-admin/

So you can’t typically go to Appearance > CPanel?

There is no cPanel in WordPress.

    kingwt.

CPanel, if you’ve got it, is software supplied by your hosting company.

WordPress, if you’ve got it, is software you supply on your hosting.

    The two are completely unconnected.

It’s a bit like asking, “Can I access my WordPress Admin via Adobe Reader”.
