• Hello!

Again, I’ve run into a problem. I’ve installed WordPress on my own server (http://soph.se/portfolio) but I would like to use one of my domain names to access this installation (http://sophiewikstrom.se). This works good, of course, since I’ve pointed sophiewikstrom.se to soph.se/portfolio, but the permalinks and all that never appears in the address bar … is there a way around this? It feels kinda expensive to buy a new server for each WordPress installation … I want permalinks to entries and so on, but no matter what I click on my site it always shows http://sophiewikstrom.se in the address bar, instead of, for instance, http://sophiewikstrom.se/links

  • You’re using a cloaked redirect which is essentially an additional frame around your site. So your site will always show the basic redirected url. You need to speak to your hosting provider about alternative methods of parking this new domain.
