install & activate plugin

Hello, I installed the plugin, but it gives an error when activated: “The plugin was not activated because it caused a fatal error. Parsing error: syntax error, unexpected ‘[‘ in /data/users/prev/htdocs/wp-content/plugins/staff-list/inc/cnt-list.php on line 216”
