Hi This is more of a question than a problem. I have been using this plugin for custom fields and want to extend it’s use to sitewide options.

I’m interested in knowing if there’s some existing way of using options field data and inserting as shortcodes?

This should help get you started, regarding any sort of options page you want to use with it: https://github.com/WebDevStudios/CMB2/wiki/Using-CMB-to-create-an-Admin-Theme-Options-Page

Afterwards, the shortcode is easy enough to make with a query for the options you want etc. That part is mostly going to depend on you and what you want to display and how.
