Insert variable, page title

Hello,
in a site of mine that I have been using for years, I set ad inserter to insert a personalized description for each post. In this description I have used the variable [sc name = “titolo”] to show the post title in the description.And it works great!
Now, I have installed the plugin on another site, and when i try to insert the same shortcode to show the title, in the description it doesn’t work in any way.
How can I solve?
