I’m using the code echo do_shortcode('[ez-toc]'); to put the table of content directly in the template. I found that I need to enable auto insert or the headings won’t have the id added to them then the anchor links won’t work. Is this normal?

It’s in the content.php of a twentytwelve child theme.

This may be a bug so I have created a ticket for the testing on https://github.com/shazahm1/Easy-Table-of-Contents/issues/147

If it gets recreated, we will solve it in the upcoming updates.
