Insert Shortcodes

Hi @renatefink,

There was very little change to the editor with the last few updates so I’m not sure how this happened.

Do you know which plugin is controlling the Insert Shortcodes button? Do you have a page builder plugin installed?

Also, is this button available on tabs that have previously been saved? (i.e. is the button only missing when you’re adding new tabs?)

You create a brand new product and add a tab – the shortcode button is not there.

You save that tab & product (the page refreshes) – is the shortcode button there?

Yeah that makes sense – sorry that the button isn’t available when you first create the editor. By creating the editor dynamically (without the page refresh), it doesn’t allow for other plugin’s extensions to load. We try to make it as similar as possible to WordPress’ standard editor (i.e. the editor you would see if you had no other plugins).

Once you save a product, the editor will load a more normal way and the extensions will be available.

I hope that makes sense and I hope that it isn’t too big of an inconvenience.
