Insert Media not working after Upgrade

    I recently upgraded to 3.9.1 and have had issues with the Insert Media screen since. I’ve done some searching here and can’t seem to find someone who has the exact same issue (although I see a bunch that are similar and I’ve tried a few of the fixes).

    Here is a screenshot of the uploader when I try to upload an image:

    However, even though I get an error and the spinning circle never goes away, if I go to my Media Library in the main menu, the image shows up just fine. http://columbiabride.com/images/SS0079.jpg

    Here are a list of plugins I’m currently using.
    Akismet
    All in One SEO Pack
    AVH Extended Categories Widgets
    Formidable
    ProPhoto3 Theme Compatibility Patches
    Wordpress Database Backup

    Anyone else experienced this or have any thoughts on what steps I can take to troubleshoot?

    I also have a site doing this. the little spinner just spins. I don’t get the error off the side like you did for image 0777.jpg

    I have tried turning off all plugins (at the same time)

    I have tried adding define(‘CONCATENATE_SCRIPTS’, false ); to wp-config

    I have not tried changing themes or deleting all items in the library

    Okay…. I just tried changing themes to the 2014 WP theme and that fixed the problem. My theme is a child of mystile by woothemes

    I tested the base theme and it’s fine, so the problem is in the child (hey, I have a “problem child”!) — looked in functions.php for the child theme and saw a google analytics script there (which worked before 3.9.1) – I removed that script and problem solved.

    Barmillion, thanks so much for your response! You def. made me think in the right direction.

    I checked into it, and my theme had a new compatibility patch for the newest version of WP. I downloaded and installed the patch, and the uploader is working again!
