As it stands, you cannot manually sort an image from one displayed backend page to another.
If you look a little lower on this site at ‘Gallery Sorting Issues…’ you will see how to alter the option which sets the number of images per page. If you make that change, say to 300 images per page, then you can manually sort within your total. Bear in mind this may affect timing.
Hey, thanks for coming back to me.
I understand your suggest, and it’s a good one.
However, I cannot see where to change that value.
On the ‘Customize’ tab, I’ve changed the ‘Images per page’ setting to 300 and that’s work on the public side, but not in the admin section.
Where should I look?
You can’t find it because the option is not available in the Imagely settings. I suggested you look in this forum for the php code snippet which does allow the change. There are also other methods. (a) You can enable the legacy Nextgen interface which does include the option setting. (b) you can manually edit the items_per_page option within the WordPress database (only for experts).
Read through the various topics in this forum where all these are explained.
