This is possible by modifying the “index.php” file that the Spun theme uses for its Home page.
First set up a Child Theme: http://codex.wordpress.org/Child_Themes
Then copy the “index.php” file from the Spun theme and paste it into your Child Theme directory.
Let us know when you’ve done that.

i have a similar problem so i will also adress it through this tread, i want to have the image in the bottom right corner of the page, maybe some space to the border of the page.
I have child theme and custom css installed my page name is islandofopenprocess.net
