Did you intend to “play” an image with JW Player? JW6 does not support images anymore – only audio and video files, plus YouTube and RTMP streams. See our upgrade guide:

No I don’t want to play an image; when I click INSERT IMAGE on the Media Manager it inserts jwplayer short code with nothing in it. This did not happen in the previous version of the plugin
So you mean the player is overriding the other options in the media manager?
I have localized the problem. This is indeed a bug. We will look into this a.s.a.p.
