Insert Gallery will not work on pages | WordPress.org

I use nextgen with success on several sites, however I think I may have a problem on this site. I installed the latest version of nextgen gallery, and activated. I go to a page, click the icon to insert a gallery, and nothing comes up but a white box. Nothing loads. Any ideas what could be causing the problem? I dont have any other gallery or lightbox plugins installed whatsoever, so I’m wondering if there is a conflict with something else. I’ve tried de-activating/deleting, reinstalling the plugin, etc.. and nothing.

Any help much appreciated.

@letstalknevada – There is not really very much in the way of details for us to even hazard a guess on what might be going on here.

Hey there,

I’m having the same issue. When I go to post a gallery on one of my pages, I can select the gallery, and “save all changes” to the images, but there is no button to insert or publish the selected gallery to the page.

A screenshot of what I get when trying to insert onto a page – I hope that helps.

Any insight would be greatly appreciated.

All – You appear to be using the Add Media button, this is not the ATP (Attach to Post) button used for inserting galleries and/or albums.

The ATP is located at the far right end of the top row of button on the visual tab of the default TinyMCE editor.
