• Dear Robert,
I have one more question and could not find an answer so far:
I want to include a map which either shows all markers or, if so chosen by selection, shows only markers of a specific assigned group.
Ie. the whole map shows playgrounds, children shops, pools, deer parks etc. and looking at that is useful when you have not yet an idea of what you want to do with your child and simply explore the neighborhood. However, if the user already decided he wants to visit a playground I want the user to be able to look at playgrounds only, without going to another page.

Is that possible, and if yes
    – is that function available in the basic package and
    – will you give me a hint please, where to look for documentation?

    Kind regards
    Kerstin

  • Dear Kerstin,
with free and pro version you can create so called layer maps which include multiple markers. On top of that you can configure a layer map to become a “multi-layer-map” in order to include markers from selected layers. What is not possible at the moment (but will be added with pro v1.7) is filtering these layers on frontend.
See http://demo.mapsmarker.com for a live demonstration of layer maps.
    best,
    Robert

    🙁
Pity that! Guess you’ll keep us updated, when that version is out 😉

    Thanks for the quick response!
    Cheers
