• Hi,

How do I add an inquiry button or link on the product pages? I have it setup on the catalog but my clients would also like it on the individual product pages.

My catalog page is at http://maineventfun.com/products-test/ and an example of a product page is at http://maineventfun.com/products-test/?SingleProduct=20.

Also, you will see that the cart is displayed even if it is empty. How would I change this to display only when a product has been selected for an inquiry? The cart is even visible after the send inquiry button has been pushed which is confusing.

Select a couple of products for inquiry, hit ‘Send Inquiry’ and you will see that the cart is still visible at the top of the inquiry form, which obscures the list of products that they have selected.

I would greatly appreciate you help!

    Thanks in advance,
    Patrick Campagna

  • Hi sweetcell,

We already have the “Send Inquiry” graphic enabled on the product pages. Changing or Adding an “Inquire” button would require updating PHP and JavaScript coding.

Also, the cart gives an indication to the users the number of products that is being added to it. When you click on “Send inquiry” button, the number of products in the cart will reset to 0. An empty cart means no product has been added.

Could you make the needed PHP and JavaScript change for us that would provide the ‘Inquiry’ button on the individual product pages. We would be more than happy to pay for this.

Most people when viewing the category page will click on a product to learn more about it. This is where we need the inquire button…they have seen the product’s details and are now interested. Making them go back to the category page to find that product again so they can click the inquire button is counter-intuitive.
