Information not saved

I have installed MBM via my WordPress admin page and started entering information on my first book. However, upon saving it appears that all information is lost except for the title. Adding a cover for example opens the media library, and the seleted cover is seemingly added to the post, but once I save a draft all text boxes return to blank.

Am I missing a config setting somewhere?
