hey Mark
There is no way to link direct to images only on mobile.
Can I ask why you do not want to use a lightbox on mobile? FooBox is designed for mobile, so the image takes up most of the screen with controls on the top in a mobile-specific area to move between images and also for social sharing (with FooBox PRO).
If you choose to link direct to images then the user has to click back on to go back to the page in order to see the other images, which I feel would be a worse user experience
Hi Bradvin, I’m going to explain why: Many of the costumers out there around this time do prefers a simple and minimal, fast interaction with the devices.
As you can see here what I have build with your great plugin:
http://www.lorenzoformicola.com/test-2/
With those setting when you open via ipad of iphone or any other mobil devices the gallery images are all ready in full screen size, they fill fully the devices display.
In my case we do not need any caption, info data, of the images displayed or to share … and believe to me, this kind of interface will open to FOO-GALLERY a large market here in Milan area with the many photographer are looking for this kind of gallery and later from all over the world …
So “disabling the light box”, and “turn the thumbnails in high res on mobiles devices” will kick the market.
Can ask if I can do this via CSS? Of modify any file lines codes … I’m very bad with codes but I’m good on copy and paste lol
Thank you so much for your time again it was a pleasure to talk to you
Kind Regards
Mark

Hi again Mark,
I answered your other thread, but just for closure on this one, I have added a doc with info on how to disable FooBox on mobile only.
