infinite scroll?

Is it possible to have an infinite scroll after X images in an album, instead of a “click for more” button? I tried installing an infinite scroll plugin, but it required me to create and insert a shortcode, so I don’t see how it would work *within* a Photonic gallery. Thanks for your help.
