• Just installed the Rename wp-login.php plugin.

It works fine except for this message:

WP Super Cache is enabled on your website. To make sure Rename wp-login.php works correctly, you should add login to Rejected URIs. This notice will disappear once you’ve done that correctly.

It’s wrong because although WP Super Cache is installed, it is not enabled.
I deactivated WP Super Cache because I’m evaluating the caching performance that was just introduced with WordFence.

Obviously I could suppress the message by deleting WP Super Cache, but I don’t want to do that in case, after my evaluation of WordFence, I decide to reactivate WP Super Cache.

OK – here’s a bypass to that problem.

I activated WP Super Cache, enabled caching, added my new login page’s name to the list of rejected URIs, and checked that the message was suppressed.

Then I deactivated Super Cache again.
And now I don’t get the warning any more.
