Hello there,
Let me start off by asking of you are using another plugin to add custom user roles or is it built into your theme. Also can you tell us which feature of Easy Pricing Tables you are having trouble with related to these user roles.
Get back to us with more details and we will see what we can do here.
Thanks.
I use https://es.wordpress.org/plugins/members for working with the roles
My theme allow to have custom roles. the original wordpress roles + teacher and/or student. If we have 2 roles, let´s say you are student because the theme and administrator because that is the original role, the settings page will not be available
I think is because your plugin read student as a role because is the first role the profile have. And do not take a look if there is another role that have the rights to see the administrator content.
Hello there,
This is the first instance of us knowing about this kind of issue. We don’t have this issue reported for other users so it is not quite common.
I would suggest you to contact the plugin author of the members plugin to see if they can fix it. Also you can try interchanging the order of the roles to see if it may fix it.
Thanks.
Hello there,
It’s been a few days since we replied last. We just wanted to make sure that your issue got resolved or you had any other queries. I would like to inform you that I will mark this thread as resolved in a few days if we do not get a reply back from you within a few days.
Let us know if you have any other questions.
Thanks.
is not fix. The problem is with the roles, with the order, as you plugin check the first one as the one you need for the permision, and if is wrong, it will not work. The issue must fix in your plugin as is the place for that.
Hello there,
Sorry for the confusion, that last response should not have been sent, and the ticket should already have been marked resolved.
This is something that needs to be resolved by the authors of of the members plugin.
Wordpress, by default, only uses one user role. So plugins are written with that in mind. The members plugin needs to place secondary user roles second, so these custom users roles do not interfere with other plugins normal behavior. If that is not done by them you will likely run into similar issues with other plugins.
I would suggest you file a support ticket with their support forum, for a resolution.
I do apologize for the delay, and the confusion here. The automated check-in should not have been sent, as this is not something we can help with. Best of luck with this issue.
Regards,
