Including 5 most recent posts on another page…

I’m working on a site, and trying to set up on their main page (index.html) a way of displaying the 5 most recent post titles. i’m fairly new to php, but able to get around.

Basically if you check:

http://www.jmwproductions.com/index_new.htm

in the weblog area, i want just a list of 5 posts which link to the blog at http://www.jmwproductions.com/blog

any help would be great. Thanks.
