Hello @james215.
Unfortunately, the chatbot cannot affect the way you make calls from your browser, such as launching the Google sync window.
You can try to change this behavior from the settings of your browser or contact its support team.
I don’t launch the synch window. When clicking on the phone icon in the chatbox it pops up the sync window. That would seem to be a flaw with the plugin. I tried it on edge which as you know is Microsoft’s newest version of internet explore and it does the same. As I said it seems live a flaw or a bug in the plugin. I attempted to deactivate the sync in chrome and it did the same thing.
I just curious why a service is being offered when it doesn’t work.
Hi @james215.
The number or icon in chatbox (sample screenshot) is intended to enable the user to call you by dialing your number on the phone or by clicking on them.
To make calls with Twilio use the button below (sample screenshot).
Hello,
You just stated my own question for me when you said “by clicking on them” When attempting to call by clicking on them that’s when the Sync box appears instead making a call..
Hi @james215.
The appearance of the synchronization window or the application selection window is the standard behavior of your browser to select the method of making calls. Therefore, the first call you need to configure your browser to use the application or device with which you want to make this and subsequent calls.
