None of my calendars were working correctly after the update. The CSS was very messed up, the hover effects were off, the nav arrows weren’t working. One one calendar, one whole month (January 2016) would just blank out.
I tried all kinds of troubleshooting like deactivating all of my plugins, etc.to search for a conflict and nothing worked until I activated the default WordPress theme, refreshed the page, the calendars started suddenly appearing and acting normal, went back and re-activated my theme, and they stayed intact!
I still have to go back and use CSS to change colors and styles, but at least they are working now!
I have no idea if it was just a coincidence, or if there is something to deactivating your theme, refreshing the page with the calendar in your browser, then reactivating your theme and refreshing again. But it worked for me so I hope it works for you.
As always, though, proceed with caution!
