[Improve docs] – Variable product and attributes archive page

    Problem:
    Attribute archive page is not showing variable products

    Case:
    1. Product have 2 attributes: colour and size
    2. Only size is selected as “Used for variation”
    3. Product variation have only size attributes and size values.
    4. There are no products for colours in attributes archive page

    Missing docs:
    Could anybody improve documentation about how variation affect displaying variable products in attributes (taxonomy) archive page, please ?

    My current setup and “fix”:
    I turn off stock management (Woocommerce -> Settings -> Products -> Inventory ) following some post from this forum. Now all attributes, which are not used as variation, are showed in archive attribute page. Attributes which are used as variation are visible only by their values from variation in archive attribute page.

    As this is not ideal case for people who need stock management I suggest to update docs for avoiding additional question in future.

    Could you share an example product URL as well as screenshots of your attribute settings so we get better idea of what you are trying to do? – I recommend https://snipboard.io for easily sharing screenshots – please follow the instructions on the page, then paste the URL in this chat. It works with Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Edge.
