I’m sorry to updtate but it’s very urgent as i cant do anything right now
I have what I think is the same problem. Running 4.0, everything was fine last night, this morning I get the following error message when attempting to login to admin:
“Error establishing a database connection
This either means that the username and password information in your wp-config.php file is incorrect or we can’t contact the database server at localhost. This could mean your host’s database server is down.
Are you sure you have the correct username and password?
Are you sure that you have typed the correct hostname?
Are you sure that the database server is running?
If you’re unsure what these terms mean you should probably contact your host. If you still need help you can always visit the WordPress Support Forums.”
Hostgator says their servers are fine and its not them.
Anyone know what is going on?
For me it happen just after i updtate to 4.0 and i got no error message at all…
<My host said nothing is wrong for them…
It’s a mess how can i get back to the old version?

You don’t have the same problem. You need to check your wp-config.php file for errors.

I told you since this morning i made the update to 4.0 and just after i was unable to connect i get no error nothing just impossible to connect….
Sorry, according to Securi your site has malware on it. Did you look at the firs link I provided?
You also will notice that your site never fully loads. It has been running scripts now (I am watching it.) for the last 5 minutes.
You should ask your host if they can roll you back to a time before you upgraded.
Yes i look at it this are my script. It is totally normal that script keep running.
But there is absoltly no problem on the login page.
I found a lot of person in the same case than me so there must be a problem with this new version!
Using the file manager provided by your host or ftp rename the plugins folder plugins-old.
If no change there, switch to the twentyfourteen theme by renameing your theme, mh-magazine-lite, old.
