I’ve done changing this: define(‘MTEXPORT’, ‘import.txt’); and I’ve uploaded it already but whenver I’m going to import-mt.php, this appears:
Parse error: parse error in /home/whapak/public_html/wp-admin/import-mt.php on line 56
    what am I doing wrong?

a parse error is usually the symptom for a missing ; or some such syntactic mistake.
Try downloading a fresh import-mt.php and uploading it again.

I tried uploading a new import-mt.php, but nothing happened.

what version of wordpress are you using? what’s there on line 55, 56, and 57? use the backticks to enclose code. 🙂

I’m having the same problem, running WP 1.0.2.
    Line 56:
If you’ve done that and you’re all ready, let’s go!
    I’m open to suggestions….. *wry*

Anon, you are using WP 1.0.2 . That is a stable version and so import-mt.php should work fine as it is. If you still can’t make it work for some reason, then email me you import-mt.php and I will see what I can do.

I’m (trying) to use 1.0.1, and I too have the line 56 error. It fixed it on my server by re-uploading the file in binary mode.
