Importing from Blogger – can’t authenticate

    I’ve been attempting to import my old blog from blogspot. I’m not terribly savvy, but I think I’ve ticked all the usual boxes – latest blogspot template, right date stamp, archive monthly, etc.

    Every time I tell it to Grant Access it gives me the following error:

    Could not connect to https://www.google.com
    There was a problem opening a secure connection to Google. This is what went wrong:

    Success (0)

    Version 2.7.1

    Any thoughts on what I’m doing wrong?

    I never fixed the problem, but I found a way to upload stuff using the xml file in the end.
