Yes, Facebook disabled this ability since May 1st, 2018. Now it works only for Facebook approved apps.

So SNAP is not a approved app? Will this change or is importing never going to work again?
SNAP is not a Facebook app. SNAP is a WordPress plugin.
You create Facebook app by yourself when you connect SNAP to Facebook. You can submit this app to Facebook for review and approval. Once approved, you will be able to autopost and import comments.
Thanks for the explanation. Maybe you could write some tutorial to explain how to make the appli approved by FB. But I can understand it’s not your responsibility here.
We certainly will write the instructions once at least one of our apps gets an approval.
The current waiting time is 12-16 weeks.
All our apps are still pending.
