import upload file size increase

    Hello Everyone,

    I installed WordPress but it has a 2MB limit, I have been searching on the threads and everyone says something different. Does anyone know how to change this? I am running OSX Server 10.9 not MAMP

    WordPress does not impose any upload limits. It simply uses the limit imposed by your server’s configuration.

    I figured it out, I ended up editing /private/etc/php.ini

    Located
    ; Maximum allowed size for uploaded files.
    ; http://php.net/upload-max-filesize
    upload_max_filesize = 2M

    Changed it to 50M and changed the upload below to 200

    ; Maximum number of files that can be uploaded via a single request
    max_file_uploads = 200

    Shutdown the SQL server and Apache then restarted services and it worked perfectly.
