    Hi – plugin looks great!

    Is there an option to create a TablePress table with data from a table that lives within the WordPress database, but is not part of the core installation tables. Sort of like a CRUD builder where I can provide the database credentials, and the table is automatically built.

    Sorry Tobias – I just saw a previous answer on the CRUD.
    Not quite what I was looking for, but table press still looks great.

    Hi,

    thanks for your question, and sorry for the trouble.

    Yes, TablePress can indeed only be used with its own tables, but not with e.g. mySQL database tables. Sorry 🙁

    interestingly, I have been thinking of writing a plugin to import some data from a separate mysql table into TablePress table for a better user interface. TablePress is great to present data as a table.
