Import 1.5 comment table into WP 2.3

    A while back, my WP 1.5 comments table got deleted automatically by my ISP (spam attack, it grew too big, too fast).

    I didn’t even realize I had a backup and thought I had to live with my lost comments.

    I recently upgraded my blog to WP 2.3, and just found a backup of my blog DB, including the comments table…

    So my question is, given the change of DB architecture regarding comments in 2.3, can I reimport my old comments, and if so, how would I go about it?
