Images Upload Error Message

    I’m getting a message when trying to upload images to my Blog at http://www.pathickeytravels.com. I have a new Macbook and am using the Mac OSX. any help would be appreciated…FYI I’m extremely tech challenged -so if you could keep it as simple as possible.

    The message is:

    Unable to create directory U:\users\t\trav325\public_html\wordpress/wp-content/uploads/2007/02. Is its parent directory writable by the server?

    You need to create the uploads folder on your server under the wp-content directory. Then ou need to CHMOD it to 777. Upload an image. Go back in and change the permissions to whatever your default on the server is for directories (usually 755).

    You *must* change your permissions back on that folder after you’ve uploaded your first image. It’s a HUGE mistake if you leave it at 777.
