@peterb12 – An example of what you are seeing may be useful, do you have a link to the slideshow you can share?

    Sure, Cais

It’s the slider on the homepage.

@peterb12 – This is what I am seeing: http://take.ms/rHXps (although this image may not be a great representation, even though it is interesting).

The slideshow does not looked stretched to me.

Hopefully, this will help. I just uploaded screenshots to my site: http://www.peterbraune.com/cpr

The first image in each pair is the correct aspect ratio, the second is what is showing in the slider. I must have something set that is forcing the width and cropping the height.

@peterb12 – Thanks, those comparative images help a bit … do you see the same issue if you do not use the flash Slideshow?

Cais – that isn’t the Flash Slideshow, but I just tried changing to Flash and got the same result.

@peterb12 At cindypeaseroe.com I see a slideshow with width:600px and height:400px, but the images are smaller than the container, so you should upload them at the same or higher size of the slideshow (or set the slideshow size same as that of the actual images).
Also, in Gallery settings > Basic slideshow > Stretch image you should set the parameter (true, false, fit, none) that fits best trying all of them.
