images on the page

Hello everyone
I have started to using WP 2 days ago.I’m working on existing website (didn’t build it too). It is pain.
I have two questions today regarding our site (http://thelearninghubgroup.co.uk/) – and would be perfect if no changes in the files will be needed:1.
How I can make middle of the site smaller. it looks that now it is full wide page – blue colour is a background and is not visible on the sites. I would like to get rid of “Get in touch” form and make the text to go in that place. Also when I want to edit page in the dashboard on the left hand side I can change from default to wide, archive, blog etc. But after clicking “update” the page is still wide (no background visible on the sides).
2. I wanted to use some kind of bullet point on the home page stating why custemers should use my company.
but decided that I want 4 separate buttons like this http://thelearninghubgroup.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2011/09/percent.jpg
placed in one row, next to each other so first will be align to the left, fourth to the right with two in the middle.
Under each of the button I would like the text (of course in columns) exactly under each button (1 sentence under each button).
the text from under first button “like” should go there by the way.
and if you see that text (Outstanding Results to Safe Enviroment) please can you tell me where is it comming from. Is it another widget?
thank you
