I have the same/similar problem with my images. When I go to my blog, some of my most recent uploaded images are not showing up. When I go into the Media Library, I see a link instead of a thumbnail image to click on. When I click on the link, then you can see the image. It isn’t allowing me to upload any new images either as when they are uploaded from my main server, they do not show up, nor do they show up with the image uploader on wordpress. Any suggestions on how to fix this? The other blogs I am running are not having issues so I am wondering if this is a template issue?
I’m having this same problem. I’ve just switched to WordPress.org from a wordpress account. I seem to be able to add images fine some weeks, but not the next. My blog is cathyreadart.com

i have scoured the blogs in an attempt to make sense of this (images not showing up), but i have not found a solution. after a few hours of struggle, i am at a loss–as a newbie, this has been very challenging and i have spent several hours figuring it out.
also, i cannot upload images to the new server through WP: “The uploaded file could not be moved to D:\Hosting\7097402\html/wp-content/uploads”. strange.
the site was first created on a different url–then, i had it moved to a new server (www.http://alanmichaelcarpentry.com/) and now, the images are not showing up. if i embed the url within the content, they show up–otherwise, they do not. the site where i had hosted it initially was http://pnportfolio.com/projects/alan/. any help would be enormously appreciated.
