To summarize:
1) featured thumbs are not being imported. I only get them when I run: UPDATE IN TEST
2) articles are being imported with about 20-30 delay. I have set a 1 min cron update

So can you think of any cache setting that actually can avoid thumbs to be imported in wp pipes?

Hi,
I think this way is useful for you. That is using a plugin which could auto create feature image for the posts from the content. If you use that kind of plugin, you no need to put data into [di] images input field, just only leave the downloaded images within the grabbed content.
An example of that kind plugin: Auto Post Thumbnail
