I have the same issue, but only when attempting to use the “Group” gallery. If I use independent galleries on individual pages, that works. But Group doesn’t work. The preview image doesn’t show, and if you click on any gallery you move to the secondary screen and sit watching the black icon with the never ending spinner. And if you use the “back” link, the gallery images are also just displaying the spinner.
If you refresh, then you regain the first image of the galleries, but never have I seen the preview image set for the Group. I’m sure it’s going to be a while before anybody tends to this post, so I guess using individual galleries is all I can do. I wonder if it will work to have multiple galleries on one page without being in a group….
The last time it worked for me was version 1.5.18. I keep a copy of that version to override the latest broken version. But I figured I should see if maybe it could get fixed.
Where do you set the Group and Individual gallery settings?

Now I check the gallery and it works, I guess you have installed the old working version if that is possible can you please install the latest version and drop me the link to check again.

I am very sorry to know that you also have faced a similar issue.
Can you please add a gallery group in a page/post and send it to me? (You can create a password protected page and send me if you don’t want to have a non-working gallery published on your website.)
