Images lose resizing

    On a site with the Kadence theme and Kadence blocks plugin already installed, I installed Spectra Blocks.
    It seemed to work, but the images (native Gutenberg block) lose their resizing.
    For example, if the width of an image block has been reduced, this change will be ignored.
    In the backend it seems to work, but the resizing doesn’t work in the frontend.
    Also, if it helps, the native image blocks in slides (Spectra) cannot be resized.
    Unfortunately, this makes the plugin unusable.
    I tested the site with both the child theme and the parent theme, but it doesn’t work either.
    However, with “Twenty Twenty-Five,” resizing works normally.
    Do you have any solutions?

    Thank you for the detailed report and for testing this across both the child and parent theme. That kind of detail really helps us pin things down.

    We tested this on our end with the Kadence theme and Kadence Blocks plugin active, and the native image block resized successfully for us, both in the editor and on the frontend. Since your setup is showing different behavior, there may be something specific to your site environment causing this.

    On the image block inside a Slider not showing the resizer, this is actually expected behavior from WordPress core. The image resizer does not appear when the block sits inside a flex or grid layout, and since the Slide uses a flex layout, the resizer will not show there.

    If you would like to resize the image, you can work around this by adding a Container block inside the Slide first, setting that Container’s layout to Flow or Constrained, and then placing your image block inside that Container. This gives the image block the layout it needs for the resizer to appear.
