Sure, I have just uploaded, Supernova, Version 1.4.3
I’ve tried several url variations through “Supernova Theme Options, slider” to load the slider with an image, nothing has worked.
This is the default url

this is the url I get by uploading to the WP media file.

If you enter this url in your browser the image is not found. Which means the image path is incorrect.
For the record it doesn’t happen with Supernova. Are you using some plugin which may change upload path or have you made any changes?
In any case, you can upload your images in the actual media and paste the image url. All it needs is the correct image path.
