    Hi everyone,
My site has massively malfunctioned the last week or so.

No images are displaying, I cannot upload new images, the theme seems to not load at all.

So far I have tried the following:
Reinstalling wordpress, changing permissions, different themes, deactivating plugins, healthcheck and deleting cache

Any other ideas would be greatly appreciated. I am completely stumped. as a side note I did get a new ISP around the time the problems started

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

If I want to verify remotely your 90s-retro theme does not exist.
Did you enter css in jetpack?
Did you rename the theme folder?
You can install the theme in /wp-ontent/themes/ https://codex.wordpress.org/Multilingual_Codex FTP.

    Hello, thanks for responding.
I am using additional css on jetpack.
So the theme has been deleted? How does that happen?
I did not rename any theme folders.
Sorry, I dont quite understand the last part of your response.
    Thanks for helping

Hi sorry I had the wrong link
Open your ftp client in the /wp-content/themes/ directory where the themes are stored.
Check if there is a 90s-retro, otherwise, upload it via ftp https://codex.wordpress.org/FTP_Clients
If you use the premium theme to directly contact the theme developer.

I think the extra css jetpack awaits the return of the 90s-retro theme.

hi, looking at the ftp the theme is in the folder with all the others. I really don’t understand what has happened. It doesn’t matter what theme I select. WordPress just seems to be broken.

Your css style sheet is enqueued as https://retrofaith.uk/wp-content/themes/90s-retro/style.css . I don’t see it anywhere can you see style.css in your theme folder?
if not try downloading the theme again and add the style.css to the theme folder.

    (@retrofaith)

Ah, it only has style-editor.css,not style.css. Do you think that could be it?

do you know how i redownload a theme please. thanks

Ok,so have uninstalled and reinstalled the theme but all the problems still persist. any other ideas?

It looks like you are using a 90-retro theme you can find it here

    https://wordpress.org/themes/90s-retro/

It shouldn’t hurt anything to replace the whole 90s-retro theme folder. Your data is stored in your database. If you do this back up the theme folder first then delete it and replace it with the version you downloaded.

Hi, that has not helped either. this is frustrating. thank you for helping. I only started this site in February, is there a way to just start again with wordpress. I have tried reinstalling it but that has not worked. Is there a helpline or anything, maybe somebody could reset the whole thing

can you show a screenshot of the stlyle.css file of the 90s theme – back inside the wordpress themes folder?

in filezilla it enables the hidden files and copies the contents of the .htacess file here on the forum enclosed in the code tags.

Thanks, now we have to understand why the style sheet says not found (error 404) https://retrofaith.uk/wp-content/themes/90s-retro/style.css?ver=5.1.1
    1)Backup your files and database.
2)Disabile cache for your plugin cache, HOST, CDN and browser.
3)You can rename .htaccess in old_htaccess then from the permalinks without modifying anything click on save and a new .htaccess will be generated .. I await your reply.
