    @michfm – I suspect this may be theme related with the problem you are seeing. Does the issue persist if you temporarily change to a default WordPress Twenty series theme; or, perhaps a different child-theme for Genesis? The Twenty series themes are more a benchmark for us, but we also do not see this issue in any of the Genesis child-themes we provide.
