• It seems that whenever I try to go into the template of my blog and put in a button linking to my host, it won’t show up. Its a plain image, all the other scripts in the sidebar show up. So… I can’t insert plain html into sidebar.php? (I’m not a programmer, please understand).

  • of course you can add plain HTML into your sidebar.php, and you dont need to be a programmer to do it. A link to a page with an example would help heaps, all the same.

As you can see, on the sidebar I used the Freshy’s css code <h2> to display the link back header–but under that, is no image. If you view the source, however, you will see that the image code is in both the footer and the sidebar, but does not appear.

I see 2 blue animated gifs, one in the sidebar, and one in the footer. I dont know if those are the 2 images youre talking about since they dont link back to the site youre asking about.

Other than that, I see nothing in the sidebar that resembles HTML that would direct a user back to the domain youve posted.

Assuming the 2 blue animated gifs are what you are posting about, I suggest clearing yourt browser’s cache, or clicking here:

to put the image INTO your cache, and then taking another look.

Btw, the way youve called that image is via hotlink, I sure hope that other domain is yours or they allow that sort of thing. Nasty things can happen when one hotlinks to images that are on other sites.

    Frames suck.

Yes, everything is completely okay with the frames/hotlinking/image. I guess I just need to clear my cache. Thanks!

your welcome – easy one i guess.
