PDFs made by some editor apps sometimes are not going to be converted.
I think there is nothing to do on the plugin side.
Did you try another app?

I have the same problem – our developer means, that PDF version 1.5+ is not showing preview images of the first page, but just a white image…
Can you check this Mizuho? Your plugin is really the only one which makes this what I need to have… But without Update for 1.5+ PDF Versions – it’s useless for me…

maybe helpful… ImageMagick on our server is version 6.7.8
but always to new for such old PDF-Versions (works just until 1.5 which is from 2003).

Thanks for feedback. it helps me to keep improving the plugin.
I converted PDF files and can’t find any difference in these several versions. I also tested in some environments of ImageMagick and ghostscript. It is why I guess that this result is caused by difference of apps.
I understand some PDFs are not converted well, which are produced by….
old MS-Word,
old MS-PowerPoint,
and old Adobe PDF Library around 2005 or so.
I’m not sure this would always be the case. I also am not sure whether it depends on the versions of ImageMagick and ghostscript.
Anyway, there must be more cases. It’s difficult to grasp whole.
If you can send the PDF to me, I’ll test the PDF in other environments. >> my form
