Image Squashed on Page

Hi all,

I have inserted an image to a page on my site which has no sidebar. The image in 900px across as is the width of the no-sidebar template I’m using I tried adjusting widths in the CSS but I can’t figure out what the problem is. It’s as if the image refuses to go any wider than 570px (the width of the content when the sidebar is present.)

Does anyone here have any ideas on how I could fix this?
