image slideshow with custom url links

I am looking for a slideshow plugin that supports custom urls links when you click on an image. So when the user clicks on an image it will take them to a specific page or possibly just pop up a thick box with the image and description. I have been using nextgen gallery, but I don’t see any option for this.

I found a couple plugins that may have some potential, but I also wanted to see if anyone has any recommendations and/or experiences.

WP-super slide: has a slide show with a description. Clicking on a picture brings up a big thickbox, but the thickbox doesn’t have a description.

Slideshow Pro: A friend recommended this to me. Said it was very customizable and should support links.
